We are Carley and Marcus, the hosts behind Altura Accommodation. We are passionate about creating a welcoming and relaxing space where guests can enjoy everything Bright has to offer. We both moved to Bright in 2015 and feel very fortunate to call this beautiful part of Victoria home.

Marcus plays an active role in the Bright community as a volunteer leader with Bright SES, regularly attending rescues throughout the region. He also serves as president of the Bright Chamber of Commerce. Alongside his community roles, Marcus works as a manager in the agricultural industry and enjoys spending his free time hiking and at the gym.

Carley was originally from Melbourne and works remotely in the software finance industry. She has always enjoyed an active lifestyle, with interests ranging from running, rowing, cycling, cross-country skiing, pilates and dance.

We also share our home with Jasper, our Hungarian Vizsla dog, who enjoys heading out on his daily adventures with us.

We live upstairs from the apartment. If we are home when you arrive, we enjoy welcoming guests in person to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay and to offer any local recommendations. After check-in, the accommodation is yours to enjoy in complete privacy, while we remain available should you need any assistance during your stay.
